Controversial critic, Daniel Regha, has voiced his disapproval on social media regarding Peter Obi’s recent visit to Paul Okoye and his brother, Jude Okoye.
According to Gistreel, Peter Okoye, one half of the P-Square duo, had addressed his twin brother Paul in an open letter. In the letter, Peter Okoye recounted his perspective on the issues between them after Paul accused him of involving the EFCC and claiming he had written most of their songs.
Following this, Peter Obi visited Paul and Jude Okoye at their residence, which was covered by the media.
In response to the visit, Daniel Regha criticized Peter Obi for choosing to address the situation in person and publicly, rather than handling it through a phone call. Regha described the visit as a case of misplaced priorities, suggesting that focusing on P-Square’s public drama was inappropriate given the more pressing national issues that need attention.
Regha’s comments: “So Peter Obi couldn’t talk to the Okoye brothers over the phone? He had to pay ’em a visit & do it in front of a camera. Making time for P-Square’s clout-chasing drama when there are more pressing issues to be addressed (as an opposition) is a misplaced priority.”
