Popular Nigerian businessman and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has revealed the reasons behind rejecting the paternity claims made by a Kenyan woman who recently accused him of abandoning her and their alleged child.
The controversy began when the woman, whose name is Helen, accused Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, of fathering her child but refusing to take responsibility for the alleged child. She claimed that he had been negligent and had abandoned both her and the child, despite the fact that she had been trying to get his attention and support.
In response to these allegations, Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram stories to publicly clarify his stance on the situation. He asserted that the child in question is not his and criticized the woman for allegedly exploiting the situation for financial gain. He explained that he had made an effort to resolve the matter by inviting Helen to come to Nigeria for further discussions, but she reportedly refused and instead insisted that he send money to her to cover expenses like hospital bills and other financial needs.
Cubana Chief Priest further expressed his frustration with the situation, emphasizing that he would never abandon a child if it were truly his. He also made it clear that he had no personal connection to the woman and did not know her before the accusations emerged. He referred to the situation as part of a scheme, possibly aimed at gaining attention on social media, and suggested that the allegations were more about seeking clout than a genuine issue of child support.
In a passionate statement, Cubana Chief Priest said, “God forbid that I have a child and abandon my child. You born for big man na dragging you wan use am drag the big man. You say you born for me I say ok come to Nigeria you say make I send money first say baby dey hungry say hospital bill choke, say you collect loan, come on I no send you to hospital.”
He continued, “I don’t even know you from anywhere no trace whatsoever. Children are gifts from God I can’t discharge my bled God forbid for all this money wey I get. God will never forgive me how much be child support wey go make me discharge pikin wey fit be C Ronaldo tomorrow.”
The businessman concluded by implying that Helen had come forward with the allegations as part of a social media stunt to gain attention, adding, “She came out because the 30k cruise catch am them come use am run the main cruise.”[/p>
