Renowned businessman and nightlife entrepreneur, Cubana Chief Priest, has taken to social media to openly mock Grammy award-winning artist, Burna Boy, following the viral audio leak involving socialite Sophia Egbueje.
The controversy began when an audio clip surfaced online, allegedly featuring the voice of Sophia Egbueje, in which she lamented her disappointment with Burna Boy for failing to fulfill a grand promise he made to her.
In the leaked recording, Sophia Egbueje detailed how she initially met Burna Boy and how he persistently pursued her for an intimate relationship. According to her, after much persuasion, she eventually gave in to his advances.
During their interaction, Burna Boy reportedly pledged to gift her a luxurious Lamborghini, an extravagant vehicle valued at approximately 500 million naira, as a token of appreciation and affection.

The leaked conversation quickly gained traction across social media platforms, stirring heated discussions among fans and entertainment enthusiasts. Many users expressed mixed reactions, with some calling out Burna Boy for alleged deceit, while others debated the credibility of Sophia Egbueje’s claims.
Weighing in on the matter, Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram story to throw shade at Burna Boy, referring to his wealth as "audio money"—a term often used to describe individuals who flaunt riches that may not be real or tangible.
Cubana Chief Priest further insinuated that Burna Boy deliberately deceived Sophia Egbueje because he understood that such extravagant gifts were a significant part of her lifestyle and financial stability. According to him, the singer knew exactly what he was doing by making such a promise without intending to keep it.
His post has since sparked further reactions, with netizens debating whether Cubana Chief Priest was justified in mocking Burna Boy or if he was merely taking advantage of the situation to troll the Afrobeat star.
