Despite the glittering guest list, popular Nigerian blog Instablog took a jab at Cubana Chief Priest for not being among the attendees. The blog highlighted his absence in a post that featured a photo of the event’s prominent figures, with the caption, “Cubana Chief Priest missing as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg attend Donald Trump’s inauguration.”
The post quickly went viral, prompting reactions from Cubana Chief Priest himself. Taking to his Instagram story, he addressed the blog’s insinuation while also making a bold demand from bloggers profiting off his name. He firmly stated that any content featuring his name should come with a share of the earnings.
He wrote: “Bloggers if una post anything with my name una gats give me my 10%. My 10% is my 10%.”
