Posting on his Instagram page, he urged women to confess their indiscretions to their husbands. He shared a post where he advised women to use the opportunity of the International Women’s Day celebration to come clean about their infidelity if they know that the children they have aren’t their husbands’.

According to him, the day was the best day to inform their parents if their kids did not belong to them. He further advised that telling the truth was the only way to celebrate IWD with a clear conscience, adding that a better Nigeria begins with the bitter truth.

He wrote;

“ADVICE TO NIGERIAN WOMEN I under 2day is international women’s Day. While basking in the euphoria of UR DAY, if you know the Kids are not His pls use dis opportunity 2 tell him so YOU can celebrate with a ClearCONSCIENCE Just an Advice sha 😎REMEMBER A BETTER NIGERIA BEGINS WITH A BITTER TRUTH😎”

However, Dave Ogbeni’s advice did not sit well with some netizens who took to social media to air their displeasure. Many of them accused the actor of not minding his business and allowing women to celebrate their day in peace. One user, identified as Uli, wrote, “Maybe you should leave women alone and let them celebrate their day in peace.”

Another user added a sarcastic comment, “I swear. Cause this women ehh. Godforbid. Omo tell your mother too. She fit even confess say she get pikin with her father sef. And confess that your real father is your uncle. Spade head.”

It is worthy of note that International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women worldwide. The theme for the 2023 International Women’s Day is “Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities, Progress for All.”
