It all began when Chika Ike took to her social media page to share stunning photos of herself proudly displaying her baby bump. The images quickly went viral, sparking a wave of joy and excitement among fans, colleagues, and well-wishers who flooded her comment section with heartfelt congratulatory messages.
Among those who joined in celebrating Chika Ike’s wonderful news was her colleague, actress Chizzy Alichi. She took to the comment section to send her warm wishes, expressing her happiness for the soon-to-be mother.
However, things took an unexpected turn when some fans responded to Chizzy Alichi’s congratulatory comment by praying for her to be “next in line” to conceive. While their messages were seemingly well-intended, it appears they did not sit well with the actress, who found the remarks intrusive and inappropriate.
Feeling displeased, Chizzy Alichi took to her social media page to share a screenshot of one of the comments, calling out the unsolicited prayers. Expressing her frustration, she wrote:
“‘You are next’—I don’t understand. Did I complain to you?? Are you in my family? Do you know what our issues are?”
Her reaction has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users defending her stance while others argued that the comments were meant as a kind gesture and not an attack.
