Cubana Chief Priest has come under criticism after showcasing the cows he gifted to a friend for his mother's funeral while failing to fulfill his promise of helping to release Akpi Nwamama, also known as Speed Darlington, from prison.
It is important to recall that Cubana Chief Priest had previously vowed to secure Akpi's release from prison amidst the latter's controversial clash with music superstar Burna Boy. The socialite assured his followers that he would take action by showcasing his influence and connections.
On Sunday, Cubana Chief Priest boldly declared on his social media platforms:
“Tomorrow we are coming for you, Akpi Nwamama. Monday is almost here. Let’s now showcase power.”
However, despite his assurance, Akpi remains in prison, prompting some fans to remind the businessman of his unfulfilled promise. The reminders came after Cubana Chief Priest posted a video highlighting the 47 cows he presented to his friend for the burial of his mother.
While sharing the video, he captioned:
