Beauty queen, Chidimma Adetshina, has announced her decision to quit pageantry, citing the emotional and psychological toll of her journey to the prestigious Miss Universe competition. The accomplished beauty queen opened up about her struggles and the challenges she faced during her pageant career.
It would be recalled that Chidimma had achieved the remarkable feat of emerging as the first runner-up at the 2024 Miss Universe, a historic win that earned her widespread recognition and admiration.

“People still don’t understand how I felt. There were times when I almost quit during the Miss Universe contest. I’m really done with pageantry. I want to focus on myself and establish who I am. And forward my education as well.”
Despite her decision to bow out, Chidimma Adetshina’s achievements in pageantry remain remarkable. Her historic run includes finishing as 1st runner-up at Miss Universe, being crowned Miss Universe Africa and Oceania, and initially winning Miss Nigeria.
