He advised that before making the lifelong commitment to marriage, one should carefully evaluate both their partner and the family background, as it can significantly impact the future of the relationship.
According to Dotun, when a person prioritizes their happiness over yours, it can lead to emotional strain and ultimately cause the relationship to break apart. He pointed out that if a key decision-maker within the family does not approve of the union, the relationship might not survive, especially if one’s partner lacks independence in decision-making.
