Controversial Nigerian singer, Charly Boy expresses scepticism about the recent assassination attempt on former US President, Donald Trump.
This came after two people died and Trump was rushed off stage after gunshots were fired at his Pennsylvania rally. The FBI identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the suspect.
Charly Boy, via his X handle, shared his assessment of the viral incident, suggesting it may be a setup by Trump’s MAGA movement.
He urged America to conduct a thorough investigation, stating he doesn’t trust Donald Trump and believes the incident doesn’t “add up”.
“America Wonder. There is smtin about dis Trumps alleged Assassination dat don’t add up for me, something about all dis mess smells of a Maga setup.
“I Don’t fucking trust Trump. “Why was a rooftop with a direct line of sight 148 yards from the stage left unsecured to begin with?
“Was Trump really hit by a bullet dat merely grazed his ear or by glass fragments from god knows where?
“Was dis an intentional cut? Abegi Americans make una Investigate dis mater wella. The con man strike again?
“Did they find a Mugu? They encouraged and assisted him to shoot the target person and then they made sure that guy gets killed so he can’t talk about it?
“These are the questions that have overwhelmed me since morning. Can anybody help me with answers?”
Charly Boy on assassination attempt on Donald Trump
Charly Boy questions several aspects of the incident, including the security measures in place and the nature of Trump's injuries. He wonders why a rooftop with a clear view of the stage was not secured and questions whether Trump was hit by a bullet or merely by glass fragments. He also speculates whether the suspect was manipulated into carrying out the attack and then silenced to prevent him from revealing the truth.
The singer's comments have sparked a flurry of reactions, with many debating the plausibility of his theories. Charly Boy remains adamant that the situation warrants a deeper investigation, urging American authorities to thoroughly examine the circumstances surrounding the event.
