Scottish-Nigerian actress Carolyna Hutchings has publicly rendered an emotional and heartfelt apology to her colleague, Laura Ikeji, during the ongoing Season Three of the hit reality TV show, Real Housewives of Lagos.
It would be recalled that in Season One of Real Housewives of Lagos, Carolyna and Laura were involved in a heated altercation that quickly escalated, leading both women to exchange harsh words and personal attacks. During the dispute, unprintable words were used, which caused a major division among fans of the show. Many viewers felt that Carolyna had crossed a line, particularly because Laura Ikeji was pregnant at the time, while others defended her actions, saying the fight was mutual.
Some fans thought that Carolyna bullied Laura who was then pregnant.
However, in the second episode of the ongoing Season Three, Carolyna was seen apologizing to Laura over the fight they had in Season One.
“I heard an unflattering rumor about Laura and I used it to abuse her and I’m sorry. I made a statement that I wasn’t in a position to make. It didn’t matter if I heard, I saw it or was told by a close friend; regardless I wasn’t supposed to say that” she said.
