The associate of Burna Boy, Benny, has taken to social media to throw subtle shades at popular Nigerian artist Davido following the recent controversy surrounding Sophia Egbueje’s encounter with Burna Boy.
This comes after audio recordings surfaced online, in which socialite Sophia Egbueje was reportedly heard expressing her disappointment over an alleged unfulfilled promise made by Burna Boy. According to her, Burna Boy had promised to buy her a Lamborghini following a one-night stand, but the promise was never fulfilled.
As the situation continues to generate buzz online, Benny, an associate of Burna Boy, took to his Twitter page to react to the unfolding drama. In his tweet, he appeared to mock Sophia Egbueje’s expectations while also taking a swipe at Davido.
Benny suggested that if the roles were reversed and Davido was the one facing such allegations, the narrative would have been entirely different. He implied that Davido would not only have fulfilled the promise but would have also gone to the extent of pleading for intimacy despite giving out the luxury car.
