Nigerian socialite, Bobrisky, has openly criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), labeling them as the most wicked set of people in Nigeria. His remarks have sparked widespread attention and conversation online.
Bobrisky expressed his opinion while reacting to the EFCC’s recent statement urging Nigerians to show empathy and be human over the death of one of its officials who was shot dead during a raid in Anambra State. The socialite was unreserved in his criticism, accusing the Commission of being hypocritical in their appeal to the public.
In a series of posts on his Instagram stories, Bobrisky shared his frustrations with the EFCC. “I just don’t like reading anything about EFCC online, cus I feel like I want to throw up each time I read about them,” he said. He went further to accuse the Commission of lacking empathy themselves, stating, “You are asking the public to be human about the loss of one of your staff, but you are the most wicked people in Nigeria.”
The socialite also recounted his personal experiences with the EFCC, reflecting on what he described as their harsh treatment of him while in custody. He disclosed that the Commission had conducted a thorough search of his house following allegations of money laundering.
“When I was in your custody, you took me to my house and searched my house,” Bobrisky narrated. He continued, “When I asked you guys why, you claimed I’m into money laundering, and you wanted to check if I’m not printing money in my house. Police are better than you all one million times.”
His posts were accompanied by several images, which many believe highlight the intensity of his grievances against the EFCC and his efforts to expose what he perceives as their hypocrisy and misconduct.
