Nigerian singer Augustine Amedu Obiabo, popularly known as Blackface, has made a public call for the reunion of his former group, the Plantashun Boiz, which originally included 2Face, Faze, and himself.
Blackface took to his Instagram page to advocate for this reunion, emphasizing his desire for peace and unity among the group members. He highlighted the value of togetherness and urged fans to support the cause, asserting that “unity is strength.”
He wrote:
“Plantashun Boiz, the question now is to be or not to be and why? @fazealone @official2baba.
“My people, oya make una talk put mouth for this matter! We are on a mission for world peace and it’s not a small thing!
“Unity is strength and not division. Let’s go champs.”
The Plantashun Boiz initially disbanded in 2004 following the release of their second album, ‘Sold Out’. The group briefly reunited in 2007 for a third and final album, ‘Plan B’, before splitting once more. In 2017, Blackface revealed that he had reconciled with 2Face after a prolonged period of conflict between them.
