Famous Nollywood actor, Bigvai Jokotoye, has recently addressed rumors circulating about the veteran actor, Funsho Adeolu, joining the U.S. Army. Speculations began to arise after multiple videos surfaced showing Funsho Adeolu dressed in a U.S. Army uniform, leading fans and followers to believe he might be leaving his acting career to enlist in the American Army.
In these viral videos shared on Funsho Adeolu’s social media platforms, the actor is seen in full military attire, sparking widespread conversations. The imagery gave rise to assumptions that he may have taken a dramatic shift in his career path, potentially trading Nollywood for the life of a soldier in the U.S.
One of the videos, which particularly attracted attention, shows the veteran actor fully suited in military uniform while playing a keyboard and singing a gospel song. The sight of him with one of his favorite instruments struck a chord with viewers, further fueling the narrative that he may have joined the U.S. military.
However, Bigvai Jokotoye stepped in to clear the air, responding to fans' concerns and putting the rumors to rest. According to Jokotoye, Adeolu was simply in costume for his role, and the videos were part of the filming process, not an indication of a career change.
In his statement to fans and followers, Jokotoye encouraged everyone to relax, assuring them, “It’s a movie, calm down.” This comment aimed to dispel any further misunderstandings about Adeolu’s current activities and intentions.
