Popular Nigerian singer, B-Red, recently spoke about how he feels regarding Nigerian trolls and his cousin, Davido, being dragged by popular artist Wizkid and others online.
The music star was asked this question during an interview with the radio station City 105.1. The interview host probed B-Red about his thoughts on the frequent online backlash his cousin, Davido, faces, particularly in connection with the recent remarks made by Wizkid.
During the conversation, the host specifically referenced Wizkid’s recent outburst, mentioning that the “Ojuelegba” crooner is one of the prominent figures who regularly criticize Davido online.
The interviewer asked, “How do you feel when he (Davido) gets dragged online, especially by the renowned star, Wizkid?”
In his response, B-Red explained that anyone who hasn’t been dragged online hasn’t truly made a name for themselves in the music industry. He emphasized that being dragged online comes with the territory of fame, and even legendary artists like Michael Jackson faced similar online criticisms. He added, “If you don’t get dragged, you never blow o. Even the greats like Michael Jackson, if you post picture them go abuse you. If you’re famous, everybody must have something to say. So that’s life.”
