Reality star, Angel Smith has left many concerned after sharing a disturbing post amid a wave of backlash surrounding the allegations made against her ex-boyfriend, Soma.
As a reminder, Soma's former girlfriend, Hilda, recently called him out with serious allegations of stalking and physical abuse. The accusations against Soma have gained considerable attention, especially since some of the alleged incidents occurred during his relationship with Angel. Hilda’s post quickly went viral, bringing the situation to the forefront of social media discussions.
Following the backlash, some netizens directed their criticism at Angel, accusing her of being complicit due to her relationship with Soma. A number of social media users pointed out that the abuse may have occurred while they were dating, leading to calls for Angel to address the issue directly. One particular user, OyinOfLayLay, commented, “Leaving the abusive boy to be asking Hilda why she is using the collar, why not ask your abusive boyfriend how she got it??? Performative Feminist💀. The only victim in this is Hilda, and God will fight for her. Soma you will crumble!!!”

In response to the criticism, Angel defended herself by pointing out that Hilda’s friends had harassed her, even calling her phone at 3 AM. “You are so silly, I should get harassed? I never said she was not a victim, but she slut-shamed me. Her friends called my phone at 3 AM, harassing me, I did nothing but angel must be the villain. Not once did I insult her, where were you when her friends leaked screenshots insulting me and called me an idiot?” Angel replied in her defense. She continued, “How actually fucking dare you guys? Did I say I did not believe her? Did I ever discount her story? All I asked is why I must be collateral? Why am I a prostitute? If she was a victim, what made her think I was not one as well? Who tf is a perfect victim? When she shaded me for days, not one word was said.”
Despite defending herself, Angel later posted a more somber message expressing the emotional toll the situation had taken on her. She shared her realization that she would likely never be fully loved or understood until after her death. “It is Angel always, I have already accepted that the only time I will be loved is when I actually die,” she wrote. Her poignant message struck a chord with many fans who expressed their support and concern for her well-being.
