Famous American rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., known as DDG, is contemplating relocating to Lagos State due to his growing dissatisfaction with life in the United States.
He took to his X page to share his thoughts with his followers, expressing doubts about his future in America, especially in the wake of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. The rapper revealed that he was considering a move to either London or Lagos, although he has not made a final decision yet on which city he would choose.
In his post, DDG stated, “America lowkey not it no more ngl.. might have to move to London or Lagos,” indicating his frustration with current circumstances in the United States. His comments, which seem to reflect his dissatisfaction with his home country, come in the wake of the destructive wildfires that have caused extensive damage and loss of life in Los Angeles.
Although DDG did not directly link his statement to the wildfires, online speculation has suggested that the recent disasters in Los Angeles may have played a role in his desire to relocate. The wildfires have heavily impacted the city, leaving many residents displaced and causing widespread damage, which may have contributed to the rapper's decision to consider moving away from the U.S. altogether.
