[p]Davido has achieved another remarkable milestone with his latest album, Timeless. The album has become the first-ever African album to reach no.1 on the US iTunes album chart, solidifying Davido's status as one of Africa's biggest music exports.
Since the album's release, it has broken several records on major streaming platforms like Audiomack and Apple Music. On April 4th, 2023, Davido's team released a list of new records broken by Timeless, including being Number Two on Apple Music's US Albums chart.
This latest achievement comes just a week after the album's release and is a testament to the album's quality and Davido's growing global appeal. In a social media post celebrating the milestone, the post read: "FIRST EVER AFRICAN ALBUM TO HIT #1 ON US 🇺🇸 ITUNES ALBUMS CHART. WHAT AN ALBUM!☄️ #TIMELESS".
