Following the presidential election held on Saturday, there has been a lot of drama among Nollywood stars on social media. It all started with actress Dayo Amusa throwing shade at a fellow actress who she claimed spoke ill of a certain "thug" and refused to support his candidate in the election despite enjoying financial benefits from him.
In response to this, actress Adunni Ade took to her Instagram page to call out some of her colleagues who she claimed were supporting a presidential candidate because they were paid. Though she did not mention any names, she questioned why someone would sell their conscience for a meager sum of N90,000 and forget that they have children.
However, another actress, Bukky Adekogbe Raji, better known as Aminatu Papapa, who appeared to have caught the sub, accused Adunni Ade of shading her. During an Instagram live session, Bukky asked why Adunni was bitter about their support for APC presidential candidate, Tinubu.
Things took a personal turn when Bukky alleged that Adunni was having an affair with a married man and had just had an abortion for him. In the video, Bukky said, "I don't like to come on social media to shout and make noise and be abusing each other. Adunni Ade it what are they calling you. Are you mad? You said, 'they went to work for 40 days but they gave them peanut money. What's your business? Did they tell you that it was for money we went there or for the love we have for Asiwaju. Who is giving you wrong information? Who are you? You are the Queen of Runs girls. Of recent, you got pregnant for someone's husband and went to abort it'."
Firing back, Adunni Ade took to her comment section to lay curses on Bukky. "Iya e ya were my dear! Elenu pelebe! You can't tend on this glory," she wrote.
The drama among these Nollywood stars has left many fans and followers shocked and disappointed. It is yet to be seen if the situation will escalate further or if the actresses involved will find a way to resolve their issues amicably.
