CEO of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe, along with his wife and 4 others tragically lost their lives in a devastating helicopter crash in California.
The accident occurred approximately at 10 pm on Friday near Boulder City, between Nevada and California.
Police reports indicate that the helicopter took off from Palm Springs airport around 8:45 pm, en route to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the accident happened before they reached their destination.
The CEO, Herbert Wigwe, was in the helicopter with his wife, Chizoba, their son, and the group chairman of the Nigeria Export Group, Abimbola Ogunbajo.
Tragically, there were no survivors on the flight as they all succumbed to the crash on the spot.
Herbert Wigwe, the CEO and managing director of Access Bank Holdings, was 57 years old at the time of the accident. He had been leading the company since succeeding his business partner, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede.
