X influencer and content creator, Hauwa Lawal, has come forward to defend Nigerian music legend, 2Face Idibia, asserting that he is not accountable to the public regarding his personal and romantic decisions.
She made this statement while responding to a comment made by renowned media personality, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, who criticized 2Face for allegedly abandoning his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.
During a discussion on the TVC talk show “Your View,” Morayo expressed her strong opinion, stating that 2Face should not be excused from public scrutiny for separating from Annie and moving on with another woman, Natasha Osawuru.
However, Hauwa Lawal disagreed with Morayo’s stance, arguing that the singer does not owe the public any explanation about his personal affairs. She insisted that people should shift their focus toward individuals who genuinely hold positions of responsibility within society.
In her words, she wrote: “Lmaoooo I don’t care for that man but he’s not accountable to society. Make we face the real people who are accountable to us.”
2Face Idibia has remained a trending topic on social media, stirring mixed reactions following his confirmation that he and Annie are officially separated and that he is now romantically involved with Natasha Osawuru, the Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly.
